Mountain Biking in Alpe d’Huez

From our base in Vaujany you can cycle on to the 160 man gondola and be racing down the famous Megavalanche run within minutes.  If you’ve not heard of the Megavalanche race then imagine 400 extreme downhillers heading off an a mammoth 35km downhill starting on the snowy glacier 3200 Pic Blanc. Open to anyone you can enter this race from 6th - 13th July 2010 and our accommodation is the perfect base.   Alternatively use our accommodation for a mountain bike holiday anytime during the Summer Season from End June to End August.

Road Racing in Alpe d’Huez

For the roadies out there you only need to mention the 21 switchbacks that form part of the Tour De France mountain summit of Alpe D’Huez.  Every two years the Tour passes through Alpe D’Huez and Vaujany is the perfect base to access the action from.
